Dr. Rachel Neathery, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist, Wellness Coach

Rachel’s physical therapy journey started when she became a physical therapy tech at an outpatient practice. She loved that people’s lives were being changed through exercise and she played a part in their healing stories. As part of her undergraduate capstone project, she worked with physical therapists in Kenya and Poland to distribute wheelchairs to those without and her love for therapy increased. After graduating from PT school in 2014, she began working in an acute rehab setting and later transitioned to outpatient therapy.

Some of her favorite times have been when she can bridge physical therapy and gym life. She wants all of her patients to discharge from physical therapy to find an exercise they love with the knowledge of how to perform it safely. She has taught gym workshops focused on educating personal trainers about safe lifting and medical considerations. She loves seeing her past patients of all ages transition back to fitness classes, the gym, or their choice of movement. Her two recent pregnancies, one with twins, are what opened her eyes to the importance of pelvic floor therapy for women. Her own personal rehabilitation and hearing of her other momma friend’s issues stirred a great passion to help educate women and help them get back to daily functional tasks and do the things they love without pain and leakage.

Medea Taylor

Client Care Coordinator / Massage Therapist

I am a firm believer in bodywork to relieve tension, reduce stress and correct issues in soft tissue that may be causing pain. Massage is a way to address all three. I entered massage to help people by reducing stress and pain and offer an environment that is accepting and relaxing. My goal for every session is to help you feel more comfortable in your body. Massage therapy is a great relaxation method but also improves your recovery journey. If you want to be healthy and active, then regular massage therapy can help you achieve your goals and improve your overall health journey moving forward. I am here to support you in your recovery as well as your overall journey to becoming a healthy and active woman.

Gina Johnson

Client Care Coordinator

I am excited to be part of the HCPT team because I share the same passion for helping women and caring for others. As a mother of four grown kids, I can relate to the joys and challenges that women experience. My natural ability to nurture and care for people has led me to work in preschools and public schools while raising my kids. Then I decided to be a caregiver for Alzheimer’s and Dementia residents moving up to Memory Care Coordinator. I am the person you can feel comfortable to talk with and I will do my best to ensure a welcoming place here.

I have been in the Kyle/San Marcos area for over 20 years. My kids have taken their own journeys and are proving to be great young adults. I have two sons, one lives in Colorado and the other serving in the US Navy and two daughters, one attending college in San Antonio and the other lives locally who I am very close with. Now that I am an official “empty nester” I enjoy my puppy who shares the same birthday as me, local live music venues with my best friend, cooking, binge watching TV series, and spending time with family and friends.
