Dr. Rachel Neathery, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist, Wellness Coach

Rachel’s physical therapy journey started when she became a physical therapy tech at an outpatient practice. She loved that people’s lives were being changed through exercise and she played a part in their healing stories. As part of her undergraduate capstone project, she worked with physical therapists in Kenya and Poland to distribute wheelchairs to those without and her love for therapy increased. After graduating from PT school in 2014, she began working in an acute rehab setting and later transitioned to outpatient therapy.

Some of her favorite times have been when she can bridge physical therapy and gym life. She wants all of her patients to discharge from physical therapy to find an exercise they love with the knowledge of how to perform it safely. She has taught gym workshops focused on educating personal trainers about safe lifting and medical considerations. She loves seeing her past patients of all ages transition back to fitness classes, the gym, or their choice of movement. Her two recent pregnancies, one with twins, are what opened her eyes to the importance of pelvic floor therapy for women. Her own personal rehabilitation and hearing of her other momma friend’s issues stirred a great passion to help educate women and help them get back to daily functional tasks and do the things they love without pain and leakage.
